For agencies

A senior independent consultant for your EU accounts

Michaël Malherbe

Twenty years in agencies, fifteen of them within WPP, and nineteen years of weekly analysis of EU communication. Since August 2026, Michaël Malherbe makes this experience available to agencies working for the institutions, trade associations and companies in Brussels: by the assignment, in English and French, on site or remotely.

Three assignments

Strategy, at the moment it takes shape

Senior reinforcement on a framework-contract lot or an institutional account: reading the brief, message platform, editorial line, direction of a pan-European campaign. The contribution is a long memory: what institutional communication has attempted over twenty years, what it missed, what worked. An agency team has no time to build that memory; it can hire it.

The upstream of a tender response

Where the gap between a solid bid and a winning bid is decided: reading the specifications, the angle, the strategic note, the case study, the credibility of the proposed set-up. A senior key-expert CV, in the format of EU procurement, can be included in the bid. The agency keeps the relationship with the buyer; the work can remain white-label.

The voice of leaders

For public affairs consultancies and their clients: executive voice programmes, on LinkedIn first, built on evidence rather than slogans. A leader who documents a position carries more weight than a press release. Ten years of programmes for executive committee members, federation presidents and deans.

A first conversation

Thirty minutes are enough to frame the need: a lot to reinforce, a bid to prepare, a leader to be heard.
